Scope and Content A general view of the NW end of Cromarty Borough with the quadrangle of the Hemp Works in the centre. The 1846 lighthouse and keeper's cottage are at the top of the picture, just right of centre, and to their left the 18th century harbour. In the lower right Cromarty West Church and above it, beyond the playing fields, the former drill hall now a community hall. The school is in the upper right overlooking the shoreline.
