Scope and Content A very wide view over the bridge and up the Dornoch Firth. On the left the Ness of Portnaculter with the S pier for the former Meikle Ferry. The N pier lies on the spit of land across the firth to the right. On the Ness there are a number of WW2 military remains and on both spits there are a number of shell middens and lithic sites.
