Scope and Content A very wide view with the canal's Burnfoot Basin in the lower left and Loch Ness in the upper right. On the tree covered hill just above the centre left is Torvean hillfort. On the far right the scatter of building in the fields beyond the suburban estates are the Criag Phadrig and Craig Dunain hospitals.
