Scope and Content The River Ness is in the foreground with the harbour and marina on the right and the western breakwater and beacons to the left. To the right the fuel tanks of the former Longman airfield are visible. The Kessock Bridge spanning the Beauly Firth was constructed in 1976-82 by a consortium, and takes the A9 north.
