Scope and Content Clynelish distillery is in the centre. It was founded in 1819 by the Sutherland Estate, enlarged in 1896 by Ainslie and Co. A new distillery was opened on the adjacent site to the left, in 1967-8. Above the new distillery is the farm steading and dairy and associated buildings. Title and Scope & Content contributed by North of Scotland Archaeological Society (2021).
