Scope and Content The Bught Estate was bought by the town in 1923. The Ice Rink, just above left of centre, opened in 1968 on the site of Bught House. To its right are the Botanic Gardens and Floral Hall which are situated in the walled garden of Bught House. The Aqua dome, opened in 1997, and Queen's Park sports ground, are to their right. The Bught has been developed as a sports hub with extensive playing fields which can be seen on the left of picture. Tomnahurich Cemetery, laid out in 1863, is just coming into view at bottom right. Towards the top of the picture at the bend in the river is Whin Park with its boating pond. Title and Scope & Content contributed by North of Scotland Archaeological Society (2021).
