Scope and Content Arisaig is a village on Loch nan Ceal on the west coast of South Morar. The hotel is at the corner of the looped road at the centre of the photo and Keppoch House, (c. 1800) is above it. The three-sided structure to the right of Keppoch House is in the record as a steading but marked on the map as a livestock pen. The R.C. Church of St. Mary , built in 1849, is at centre right with the ruined St. Maelrubha's Chapel and graveyard beside it.
