Scope and Content Traigh Golf Course is the most westerly golf course on the UK Mainland. It was laid out initially in 1900 as a private 9-hole course, but was redesigned in 1993 and opened to all golfers. Traigh House which dates from around 1784 is at the top of the photo. It was used by the Special Operations Executive as a training camp during WW2. There is a caravan park at Portnaluchaig, just below centre.
