Scope and Content Arisaig is a village on Loch nan Ceal on the west coast of South Morar. The hotel is at the lower corner of the looped road at the centre of the photo and Keppoch House, (c. 1800) is below it. The three-sided structure to the left of Keppoch House is in the record as a steading but marked on the map as a livestock pen. The R.C. Church of St. Mary, built in 1849, is left of centre with the ruined St. Maelrubha's Chapel and graveyard beside it. The railway line to Mallaig can be seen looping round the top left corner. Title and Scope & Content contributed by North of Scotland Archaeological Society (2021).
