Scope and Content A wide view over Beauly. The Priory ruins are visible within a walled burial ground half way between the centre and the left hand edge of the image. Above centre and a little left, at the top of the unharvested field in the wide meander, the large agricultural buildings indicate Wester Lovat the site of the medieval Lovat Castle and Chapel.
