Scope and Content Croy is a small village with an estate of C20 council houses which can be seen to the right of the trees at bottom left. The Primary School is to their right. There has been a school in Croy since 1872 but this building was replaced in 1998. The original bell-tower was incorporated into the new building. The Village Hall (bottom centre) was built in 1907. The Manse (1855) is on the right and the Parish Church and graveyard is to its left with Mains of Croy is the church. The Parish Church was built in 1764 and altered in 1894.
