Scope and Content This is a general view of the Lochardil estate, Inverness, with Stratherrick Road running from centre left to centre right. Lochardil Primary School was opened in 1964. To its left among the trees is Lochardil House which was built in 1876-78 and became a hotel in 1956. Drummond School is coming into view at top left. Drummond School provides primary and secondary education for students with additional support needs. This is the original building which was replaced in 2008.
