Scope and Content This is a view of the Dornoch Bridge under construction. It was built as part of the improvements to the A9 and was opened in 1991. This replaced the Meikle Ferry which ran between the Ness of Portnaculter on the south to Meikle Ferry on the north side of the Dornoch Firth. Title and Scope & Content contributed by North of Scotland Archaeological Society (2021).
