Scope and Content The Clachnaharry Lock links the Muirtown Basin with the Sea Lock Basin. The railway swing bridge crosses the canal at this point and the fishing village of Clachnaharry is at bottom right. The former Clachnaharry Public School, opened in 1876, is between the swing bridge and the pedestrian bridge over the railway and Clachnaharry House is among the trees at top right. Clachnaharry is a historic village with many sites of interest. Title and Scope & Content contributed by North of Scotland Archaeological Society (2021).
