Scope and Content Nairn golf course brings many visitors to Nairn. At the top of the photo in the trees is the site of the earlier Nairn castle, extant in the time of Malcom 1st. Now no trace. The associated mooring place is probably now under the sea. The golf club house is below the trees by the beach. There is a Canmore and HER reference to a house (Fairways) to the right of the line of white houses beside the golf course.
