Scope and Content Henge monument at Culboki, Ross and Cromarty, Highland This henge is defined by a broad penannular ditch which is broken by an entrance causeway on the SE. The ditch is surrounded by a continuous bank. The interior of the henge contains the remains of a possible stony mound. This is an aerial photograph of the henge and looks towards the NW. The ditch of the henge is visible as a circle of dark-green vegetation. It lies in the corner of a field that has been ploughed. This henge survives as an earthwork in the NE corner of a cultivated field. Source: RCAHMS contribution to SCRAN.
