Scope and Content The collection comprises 58 photographic prints taken between 1960-1965 by W Boal of Gardyne Castle, Gray House and Farnell Castle, Angus; cottages in Ardersier, Inverness-shire and Castle Menzies, Perthshire.
Archive History The collection was deposited with the Scottish National Buildings Record likely on two occasions around 1960 and 1965-66, or possibly with RCAHMS shortly after 1966. The prints are all mounted on cards stamped with 'Scottish National Buildings Record'. The negatives were retained by W Boal except for the photographs of Gardyne Castle.
