Scope and Content A collection of 13 colour photographs of the towerhouse of Caisteal nan Con, Kilbrandon and Kilchattan, Argyll, taken by Hugo B Millar, in August 1963.
Archive History No accession record has yet been identified, but mounted prints indicate the collection was acquired by the Scottish National Buildings Record between 1963 and 1966.

Administrative History Hugo B Millar, archaeologist and historian (active c.1963-80), with a particular interest in Scottish Castles. Between 1964 and 1967 Millar led a series of excavations of the ruined castle of Eilean Dearg, Loch Ruel, Argyll. Author of: 'The Castle of Fraoch Eileab, Loch Awe, Argyll' (1966); 'The History of Cumbernauld and Kilsyth: from Earliest Times' (1980).
