Currently (2021) an Environmental Advisor to the Defence Infrastructure Organisation and Co-Director of North-East Archaeological Research Ltd. Author of publications including: ‘Kirk Smeaton Quarry, North Yorkshire Trial Excavations’ (1989); 'A Late Iron Age settlement at Scotch Corner, North Yorkshire' (1995); ‘Roman Castleford: excavations 1974-85’ (1999); (with P N Wood) Lindley Moor, Huddersfield: Archaeological Excavation Report (2000); Village Farm, Newton Mulgrave: Monitoring of the the excavation of postholes (2018).
