Scope and Content A collection of photographic prints and negatives of buildings, landscapes, street furniture and sculpture, by Eric de Mare. Notable subjects include: the Royal Scottish Academy, Dean Bridge, Forth Bridge, Signet Library, Rockville, Edinburgh; Miss Cranston's Tearooms, Glasgow; Brig of Balgownie, Royal Oak Bar, Aberdeen; Aray Bridge, Inveraray; Tay Bridge, Aberfeldy.

Archive History A batch of eight prints and negatives was bought by the Scottish National Buildings Record from Eric de Mare in December 1955. An additional 41 colour prints and 115 black-and-white prints were purchased from de Mare by RCAHMS in 1986.
