Scope and Content Henge monument at Easter Cadder, Lanarkshire, East Dunbartonshire This small henge monument was discovered as a cropmark on oblique aerial photographs. It is defined by a broad ditch and has an entrance causeway facing the SE. The henge is visible as a dark penannular ring in the centre of this aerial photograph. A concentric setting of about twelve large pits can be seen within the ditch. This henge has been ploughed flat. It is situated in a field to the S of the Antonine Wall. The ditches of a Roman temporary camp lie to the NE of the henge. They too can only be seen as cropmarks on aerial photographs. Source: RCAHMS contribution to SCRAN.
