Scope and Content Watch tower at Round Law, Perth and Kinross This Roman watch tower is at Round Law Farm. It stands on top of a low mound. There are no surface remains of the watch tower. The site was probably in use during the Flavian period. This is an aerial view of the site. The circular ditch which surrounded the wooden tower is visible as a cropmark in the centre of the image. The position of the four posts which supported the tower can be seen inside the circle. The site was first discovered through aerial photography and has since been excavated. No datable finds were recovered, though similar sites date from the 1st century AD. Source: RCAHMS contribution to SCRAN.
