Scope and Content The collection comprises photographic copies of Royal Botanic Garden drawings for the Physic Garden, Leith Walk, Edinburgh, and for Inverleith, including: surveys by William Crawfurd 1777; survey by John Leslie 1763; design for a new Botanic Garden in Edinburgh by Sir James Nasmyth; sketch for a new Botanic Garden by Mr Crosbie, Advocate, and Mr Robertson, Architect; design for a monument to Sir Charles Linnaeus by Robert Adam 1778 and James Craig c1778; engraved plan of the Experimental Garden at Inverleith etc. NMRS Jubilee Guide, 1991.
