Scope and Content Lost Art workshop, Dan Lea explaining process of renovation Ross Fountain, Waverley Gardens, Edinburgh Once the iron is cleaned and the paint removed, the smaller items are placed in the oven to dry out the iron. Cook it for 5-8 hours and see if water released from surface until fully dried out. The condensing oven has an open pitched roof. It is heated from underneath evaporating the water off the object being dried. The condensed water runs down thwe walls and out through the bottom of the oven. Wire brushs are then used to remove the flash rusting resulting from the drying process. Sound: sound Colour: colour Running Time: 01:48mins
