Description Interior. General view. Jaquard loom in gallery area. The warp threads in tension on the loom frame are clearly visible as is the jacquard device above the loom which manages the weft threads (by means of punched cards) to create the structure and pattern of the cloth being woven. The holes and blanks on the cards allow the hooks in the frame to select or not select threads to create the complex patterns in the cloth
