Scope and Content Inscription on memorial: 'To the glory of God and pious memory of Major-General David Walker son of Adam Walker of Wooden and Agnes MacDougall his spouse. He fought the battles of his country in many lands commanding a brigade at the battle of Castalla and died AD 1840. Also Lieut. Colonel Thomas Walker his twin brother who served with distinction under Sir Ralph Abercrombie in the West Indies and died AD 1822. Both were companions of Sir Walter Scott in his earlier days. Their ancestors tenanted Frogdean in this parish. The above panel formerly in the Walker Aisle was set here by their kindred AD 1912'.
