Scope and Content Two folders. Folder 1: 4 bundles. 1. Two bundles containing official specialist wood report of 1998, correspondence, catalogue and copies of rough drawings. 2. Earlier ancillary wood report probably written in 1989 as part of authour's researches into domestic wooden artefacts. 3. Correspondence regarding wood artefacts and the corresponding report from 1960-1999, both typed and handwritten, one on the back of scrap paper containing unconnected letter from MP Ian Lang, Houses of Parliament . 4. Four black and white photos on film of wood artefacts. Folder 2 Items of research and other information on wood and wood preservation. Separately, 5 black and white photographs, including 4 close up photographs of wooden artefacts and one similar photograph of mixture of pottery and wooden artefacts.
