Scope and Content Undated ink drawing grouped and annotated according to their location in Melrose Abbey, eg 'Outside Abbey fron ST Door to West: ST Door; Large buttress west of ST Door; W corner of ST; West side of 2nd Window from ST; on buttress between 1st & 2nd Windows from ST; West side of Westmost buts; 2nd buttress Wt of ST, 3rd buttress Wt; Westmost Wall of Abbey. Outside of Abbey to East of South Transept Door: frequently repeated; SE angle of ST; 2nd buttress to East; South East angle of Great East Window'. Numbers have been written in what appears to be blue pencil beside each mark, and the drawing bears the initials 'JAS'.
