Scope and Content A small collection comprising several accessions of material: nine sheets of dyeline prints of drawings by Blanc, for St Cuthberts Church, Edinburgh, 1891; perspective view of 'Larkfield', Trinity, Edinburgh by Blanc c1900; office drawings including several United Presbyterian Churches, as well as Jedburgh Parish Church, 1871, Woodend Free Church, 1885, Glencoats Hospital, Paisley, 1888, and Whitburgh House, 1913; a book of estimates for the building of Morningside Free Church by Blanc, 1892; a collection of glass slides believed to have come from Blanc’s office.
Archive History The first component (Acc No 1982/1) was transferred from the Scottish Development Department in 1982. The view of Larkfield (Acc No 1984/15) was purchased in 1984, and a body of drawings (Acc No 1991/60) in 1991. The glass slides (unaccessioned) were presented by Edinburgh Public Libraries. A book of estimates was acquired in 2008.
