Scope and Content The collection comprises approximately 2,100 architectural drawings of buildings in Edinburgh. There are, in addition, a number of drawings of buildings outwith the city, including Jedburgh Jail.
Archive History The collection comprises deposits of architectural drawings and photographs transferred to RCAHMS by the City of Edinburgh departments, including: Architect's Department (Acc No 1986/9, 1996/40, and a third, unaccessioned) Local Planning Authority: City of Edinburgh District, Lothian Region
