Scope and Content This is a 69-page illustrated report of a survey in March and April 2000 of Leny Wood in advance of harvesting plans, particularly owing to the presence of a few platforms, thought to have been used for charcoal production, and the imminent planning and construction of harvesting roads to permit felling and removal of conifers. The site was divided into four sectors. Over 70 features were recorded in Leny Wood, including 38 platforms, 25 of which were recessed. Several shieling-like structures were also noted.
