Scope and Content The collection comprises photographic copies of designs for Fettercairn including: abstracts of architectural references from muniments; designs for additions to Colinton Castle, Edinburgh c1800; designs for Colinton House by John Paterson 1801, Richard Crichton and Thomas Harrison c1800-1803; designs for lodges and garden buildings at Invermay c1800. The collections also includes designs for Dron Parish Church by William Stirling 1824; architectural drawings by James Forbes 18th century; and a large collection of designs for estate buildings. NMRS Jubilee Guide, 1991.

Archive History Survey of drawings now held at the National Library of Scotland. Copied by RCAHMS in 1976.
