Scope and Content Paisley Museum, Loom Gallery. Dan Coughlan, curator of textile machinery, explains and demonstrates the piano key card cutting or punching machine exhibit for cutting Jaquard Loom pattern cards.The pattern on the design paper is placed on the reading board. The card cutter reads each line and punches the card according to the grid on the design paper.
