Scope and Content This 8-page report deals with an archaeological watching brief conducted during groound-breaking works in advance of housing development on an area west of Quilco, Dounby, Orkney. Orkney Archaeological Trust Projects Unit was commissioned to conduct the work by Bracewell Stirling Architects, on behalf of Orkney Housing Association. Nothing of archaeolgical interest was found, although some features of uncertain significance were noted outside the scope of this watching brief.
