Scope and Content Newspaper folding machine. Once the newspaper (in this case the broadsheet Blairgowrie Advertiser, founded 1855, closed 1978) was printed, it was taken off the printing press (in this case the Wharfdale) and put into order and placed in the electrically driven, hand fed folding machine. This machine was made by T H Pullan and Son, Glasgow in 1934.
