Scope and Content Photograph of five rubbings. The upper rubbing shows detail of the lower half of the face of a rectangular Pictish cross-slab, known as the 'Rothesay stone', found in Rothesay Castle, now in Bute Museum. The bottom left, bottom middle and bottom right rubbings show the edges of a rectangular Pictish cross-slab, known as the 'Rothesay stone' revealing interlace, found in Rothesay Castle, now in Bute Museum. The middle right rubbing shows details of different parts of the Pictish cross-slab at Dunning, now preserved inside the porch of the church of Dunning.
