Scope and Content The blender breaks up and blends types of washed but unprocessed wool. Oil is added prior to blending. Department where the Norwegian dala wool is blended. Alec, a volunteer, explains that the originally black, dark brown with a larger part of white wool is first roughly sorted and mixed by hand. Then it goes into the blender, a type of carding machine with rollers and bigger metal teeth. Finally it is taken into a hopper before being blown to another hopper at the far end of the building and thence to the scribbler. Sound: sound Colour: colour Running time: 0.54
