Scope and Content Department where the carding takes place. In the second part of the scribbler, constituted of several wooden rollers, there is the fancy. This roller with long teeth bites into the swift and lift the wool off it to pass it to the next roller the doffer. Then the wool is sent to the last one called the scotch feed.
