Scope and Content The collection comprises documentary archives, in digital format, from archaeological projects by Ross and Cromarty Archaeological Services including reports, databases, shapefiles and photographs. Projects include: archaeological evaluation and measured survey, Comar Wood Dun, Cannich, Strathglass, 2014; Laggan / Strathmashie Forest Survey, 2014; trial trenching evaluation, Crossapol Waste Water Treatment Plant, Tiree 2013.

Administrative History Ross and Cromarty Archaeological Services (RoCAS) is an archaeological consultancy firm, established in 2010, and based in the Black Isle.The firm carries out a range of archaeological services, including desk-based assessments, walk-over surveys, watching briefs, trial-trenching, evaluation and measured survey.
