Scope and Content Inscription on stone: 'Erected by ANDREW & MARGARET DRYSDALE in memory of their dearly beloved only son TOMMY Sgt Pilot, RAF, V.R, killed in action 30th June 1941, aged 21 years. "He lives in our hearts for ever". Also the above ANDREW H. DRYSDALE who died at Strathaven 17th February 1961, and the above MARGARET DRYSDALE died 10th January 1974 in her 91st year'.
