Scope and Content View to the west along the inner rampart, dich and outer rampart, with a figure sketching in the middle distance. Titled: 'Catrail fort at the Rink, Selkirkshire, east side of circle and entrance causeway. Taken May 1880. Described by Gordon in the 'Itinerarium Septentrionale' as seen by him some time before 1727.' Sticker on the reverse for A R Edwards, Photographer, Tower Street, Selkirk.
