Scope and Content The drawing accompanies an article about the queen (Mary of Teck, wife of George V) visiting Bath. The last line of the article is 'the Queen hopes to survey the architectural and historic features of our most elegant town'. The drawer, presumably Keiller, has interpreted this literally and drawn the Queen with surveying material carrying out an architectural survey.
