Scope and Content The field notebook by Kenneth A. Steer contains notes and drawings predominantly of sites in Argyll, with some sites in Lanarkshire. The sites recorded are mainly burial grounds, sculpted stone slabs, tombs, effigies and crosses. Amongst others, the sites recorded include: the Iona Nunnery Museum; the Iona Abbey Museum, Oronsay Priory and Portalloch enclosure.
