Scope and Content The field notebook by Kenneth A. Steer contains notes and drawings predominantly of sites in Argyll. The sites recorded are mainly burial grounds, sculpted stone slabs, tombs, effigies and crosses. Amongst others, the sites recorded include: Maclean's Cross, Iona; Macmillan's Cross, Kilmory; Cill Cairine Cross, Balnahard; tombstones at Lochbuie Chapel;tombstones and crosses at Cairdon Churchyard; sculpted stones at Saddell Abeey and sculpted stones at St. Columba's Church, Southend.
