Scope and Content Five sheets of A4 paper each on a different topic and two photographs glued to each. The sheets also contain a bit of information about each site. Wilsontown Ironworks 1779-81. Mineral horse wagonway; engine house and blast furnace. Shotts ironworks c.1800 Furnace bank; a blast furnace Lead mining landscape, leadhill and Wanlockhead. 18th and 19th centuries. Glenbuck Ironworks c.1790 Blast furnace and the 'Glenbuck pig (embossed iron rod)' c.1812 Coal mining 19th century Remains of Priory Pit, Blantyre. Also jknown as Bothwell Castle Colliery, pits number 3 and 4. Miners' rows (cottages), Muirkirk, Ayrshire.
