Description General view from SW of the mill, with the S leg in the foreground. This was rebuilt after it was destroyed by jettisnoed Luftwaffe incendiary bombs in 1942 following the Clydebank blitz. A scuplture representing a sheaf of corn can be seen at the top of the forestair beneath which is a plaque with the name 'Heron Mill', dated 1821.
