Description Interior. Central Yard. Steel preparation workshop, North Bay, West End. General view from South showing multiple ridged roof , north and west wall of former boiler shop of 1907. The frame and roof structure and stanchions appear to be original, although there is later cladding and remodelling of the west wall. On right, two CNC plasma burners for welding metal sheets, and in background, a 7.5Tonne EOT Crane (Via Nova, instaled 1982) and a 7.5Tonne Matterson Semi Goliath Crane background left (installed 1982) with attached magnetic lifts for moving metal sheets fro the steel stockyard to the plasma burners..
