Scope and Content Interior, Main Workshop, Lathe 3, 4 chuck Herbert 9C/30 capstan or turret lathe being set up to carry out rough shaping. Undertakes rough shaping (shoulders) and produces the Final Rough Finish and inserts central drill hole for handle. The ailsert can se seen and the operator hammers the rough block into place, tightening the jaws which hold the piece of work steady and then switching on the machine to drill the central hole for the handle.
