Scope and Content Interior. Main Workshop. Landis Saw for cutting ailsert (running edge which comes into contact with the ice) from Vertical Corer no.2 cores into 1inch/25mm disks (inserted into 'pocket' cut into curling stone). Each disk takes 2-3 minutes to cut. Made of blue hone, finer grained granite which is more resilient to frost damage. Sound: sound Colour: colour Running Time: 0.12 mins
