Scope and Content The upper right rubbing showing a horseman wearing pointed shoes, armed with spear and sword is view of the reverse; and the bottom right rubbing bearing a cross with rounded armpits, decorated with key-pattern around a central triple spiral and a fragmentary double-disc symbol to the left of the shaft is the face of a Pictish cross-slab, known as 'Meigle No.3', upper part of upright cross-slab, displyed in the Meigle Sculptured Stone Museum. The upper left and bottom left rubbings show details from a Pictish cross-slab, known as 'Dupplin Cross', bearing decorative knotwork. Dating from the 9th century, it originally stood 750m SW of Dupplin Castle but was moved for reasons of conservation and is now on display in nearby St Serf's Church, Dunning. The middle left rubbing is view of the reverse of a Pictish cross-slab, known as 'St Vigeans No.21' from St Vigeans Museum, containing the head of a reined horse and a single spiral above it.
